Extended Completion Date Notification

Thank you for the important work you will perform in evaluating an employee's suggestion.

As the evaluator, you will judge the merit of an idea and will recommend whether the suggestion should be adopted. The quality of your work is key to the success of the Employee Suggestion Program. By objectively and thoroughly evaluating the idea, you provide a valuable service to the suggester, your agency, and the Commonwealth.

Approach suggestions with a positive attitude and open mind. As an expert in the subject matter, you may be part of the current process that the suggestion would affect. Remember that even long-standing procedures sometimes can be improved. In some cases, regulations and policies can be changed, if the benefits warrant.

 

Steps to follow :
  1. Complete Part II and, as needed, Part III of the Suggestion Evaluation Form.
  2. Send the Evaluation Form to the agency fiscal officer to complete Section C of Part III when savings or revenue is expected from implementation of the suggestion (unless your Agency ESP Coordinator has told you that he or she will take care of this step for you).
  3. Submit the Evaluation Form to your manager for review, or as directed in your agency's procedures.
  4. You or your manager should then return the completed form to your Agency ESP Coordinator by the assigned date.
  5. The Agency ESP Coordinator will review the form for completeness and forward it to DHRM for final action.
